The Fall Session of the Southwest Texas Convention met on the fifth Sunday and Saturday before in October at the Jerrell Memorial Community Center located in Jarrell, Texas. The tune book for the weekend was the 2012 Edition of The B.F. White Sacred Harp, Cooper Revision. Riley Owen called the class to order leading 277. Elder Jeb Owen led the opening prayer.

In the memorial lesson, Kevin Powell read the following list of names of the sick and shut-ins: Sue Evans, Leon Ballinger, Ron Johnson, Donald Ross, and Mike Kirkham. (The latter two were present on Saturday, but got sick in the middle of the night.) He led 138t in their honor.

Gary Rogan read the following list of names of the deceased: Landis Powell, Beverly Nelms, Sue Batson, Leo Stanley, Mary Stanley, Elder Hugh Montgomery, and Carola Johnson—Texas; Ted Mercer—Illinois; Edna Graves—Alabama. After making comments, he led 48t in their memory. The memorial lesson was closed with prayer offered by Tom Owen.
