The annual Sacred Harp singing in memory of Elder Homer Benefield, Katherine Benefield, and Mildred Johnson was held at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church on Friday night before the second Sunday in April. The class was called to order by Cecil Roberts leading 30t and 37b. The opening prayer was offered by Tommy Patterson.

Leaders: Samuel Williams 378b; Daniel Williams 47b. In a business meeting, the following officers were elected to serve: Chairman—Cecil Roberts; Vice Chairman—Samuel Williams; Secretary—Glenda Collins.
