The Washington session of the Pacific Northwest Sacred Harp Convention, normally held the third Sunday in February and Saturday before, did not convene due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Over =77 (t? b?) households did gather online on Sunday, February 21, to commemorate the singing weekend and to hold a memorial lesson.
Laura McMurray and Mischa Skeeter conducted the memorial lesson. They called 528 for the following sick and shut-ins: Rosella Helf, David Fetcho, Larry Ballinger, Gayle Cowart, Melanie Hauff, and Tony LaViola.
Laura and Mischa called 75 in memory of the following deceased: Paula Johnson Ross, Mary Nack—Washington; Martha Sherwood, Mary Lou Goertzen, T K Landázuri, Gladys Morgan—Oregon; Peter Golden—Maine; Michael Kean—North Carolina; Victor Tatum—Pennsylvania; Jewel Wootten, Margaret Spurlock, Bill Windom, Erline Lawson, Anne Chalker, Mary Ruth Stiefel, Dr. Charles Isbell—Alabama; Bill Beverly—Michigan; Janet Miller, Nick Pasqual, Pastor Edward L. Hoffman, Barry Grayson—Illinois; Curtis Owen, Dale Redmond, Myrl Jones—Texas; Tony Schinske—Minnesota; Harry Dodge—Wisconsin; Liam Toole and Judy Toole—Tennessee; Norma Mincey, David Grant, Richard DeLong—Georgia; Roy M. Davis—Mississippi; Bob Begley, Joanne Shroat, Greg Shroat—Indiana; Alicia Santinelli—Mexico; Ken Gerberick—Missouri and Canada. Mischa offered a prayer to close the memorial lesson.
