On Saturday before the third Sunday in October, 2020, singers gathered in Laurelhurst Park, Portland, Oregon, for a Portland Sacred Harp Singing “Unconvention.” This was the first of two events held in lieu of the Pacific Northwest Sacred Harp Convention, Oregon, originally scheduled for October 17-18, 2020, which was cancelled due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic. Nancy Novotny called the class to order by leading 448b.
