The 1st Berlin Shenandoah Harmony All-Day Singing was held in the chapel of the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche in Berlin, Germany. Song selections were from the Shenandoah Harmony (ShH). Christopher Schuller called the class together by leading 218t (ShH). He welcomed the class, and introduced John delRe, Kelly Macklin, Graham DeZarn, and Mary Helen Dupree, who together taught a singing school. John delRe began by leading 452 (ShH). They spoke about the history of the songs in the Shenandoah Harmony and about the experience of publishing the book. During the singing school they led “Heavenly Treasure”; 15 (ShH); 227 (ShH); 321b (ShH); 431 (ShH); 137 (ShH); and 35 (ShH). James Schuller offered the opening prayer.

Sunday, July 16

The Berlin Shenandoah Harmony All-Day singing was followed on the next day by a Sacred Harp singing. Christopher Schuller called the class together by leading 31t, and then offered the opening prayer. Evelyn Saylor taught a brief singing school for beginners.
