The 7th annual Georgia State Christian Harmony Convention was held at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church on the first Sunday and Saturday before in December. All song selections were from the 2010 Edition of the Christian Harmony, unless otherwise noted.

The class was called to order by John Plunkett leading 67t. Bill Hollingsworth offered the opening prayer. Leaders: John Plunkett 359; Chris Wilhelm 319, 61t; Mike Spencer 310t, 493b; Hayden Arp 4, 316; Leslie Booher 542, 54; Bill Hollingsworth 90, 26t.

RECESS

The Sunday session of the Georgia State Christian Harmony Convention began with John Plunkett leading 356. Nathan Rees offered the morning prayer. John welcomed the class, and led 527.

A business meeting was held. John Hollingsworth moved to keep the same officers as follows: Chairman—John Plunkett; Vice Chairman—Mike Spencer; Secretary—Judy Mincey. The motion was seconded and approved. The business session was closed.

The memorial lesson was conducted by Lauren Bock and Leslie Booher. Leslie spoke of the power of prayer, and of the bonds that join this community. The class sang 359 in honor of the following sick and shut-ins: Cassie Allen, Karen Matthews, Gillian Inksetter, and Betty Allgood.

The class sang 393b in memory of the following deceased: Elsie Moon, Garland McCarn, Gary Smith, and Matthew Beasley—Alabama; Walter Hartley—North Carolina; B.M. Smith and Earlis McGraw—Georgia; and Ruth Steggles—United Kingdom. Henry Johnson closed the memorial service with prayer.

A business session was held. Michael Walker offered the Resolutions report. Shannon Primm made a report on the treasury. The Locating Committee reported that the 2017 Convention will return to Shiloh pending approval by the church. Announcements were made.

John Plunkett led 290, and the class took the parting hand. John Hollingsworth offered the benediction.
