The memorial lesson was conducted by Chuck Neville, leading 347 in memory of the deceased and 480 for the sick and shut-ins. Chuck then offered the prayer before lunch, and Philippa Stoddard led 180.

During recess, the Convention relocated to St. Martin’s Chapel at Bishop’s College School, Lennoxville, Quebec, to participate in the funeral of long-time Quebec singer Cheryl Stroud. At her request, singers raised the roof singing 312b, led by Cheryl’s son, Phil Dutton.
