Minutes of Sacred Harp Singings

The annual Elder Bernard Moon Memorial Sacred Harp singing, Cooper Revision, was held at New Prospect Church on Saturday night before the third Sunday in July. The singing could not be held at Dorsey Creek Primitive Baptist Church this year, but hopes to return to that location next year. The class was called to order by Danny Creel leading 54t. The opening prayer was offered by Henry Guthery.

The following officers were elected or appointed to serve: Honorary Chairman—Harrison Creel; Chairman—Danny Creel; Arranging Committee—Wanda Capps; Secretary—Emily Creel.

Danny Creel welcomed everyone, and then led 133 in memory of John Etheridge.
