The 4th annual Southeast Texas Sacred Harp Singing was held at Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church, Madisonville, Texas, on Saturday before the second Sunday in April. Crystal Meadows called the class together leading 34b. Kevin Powell offered the opening prayer.

A business meeting was held and the following officers were elected: Chairman—Mike Moseley; Vice Chairman—Gaylon Powell; Secretary—Tammy Powell. A motion was made and passed unanimously to change the singing date to the Saturday before the fourth Sunday in June. The singers voted to change the business meeting to be held at the end of the singing to set up the officers for the next year.

A business meeting was held and the following individuals were elected to serve as officers for next year’s singing: Chairman—Gaylon Powell; Vice Chairman—Shera Bowers; Secretary—Tammy Powell.

Mike Moseley led 347 as the closing song while the class took the parting hand. Prayer was offered by Elder Chris Blevins, and the class was dismissed.
