The Brazos River Singing was held at the Washington-on-the Brazos State Park on Saturday before the first Sunday in April. This will be the last time this singing will be held at the State Park. The singing will be held next year at the Brenham Community Center, Brenham, Texas.

Tom Owen called the class to order at 10:00 a.m. leading 208. Jeb Owen offered the opening prayer. A short business meeting was held, and officers for the singing were elected: Chairman—Tom Owen; Vice Chairman—Kevin Powell; Secretary—Mary Ann Owen.
