The class was called to order at 9:30 a.m. by Syble Adams who greeted and welcomed the crowd, and encouraged all to participate. She especially thanked the faithful visitors (singers and listeners) from south Alabama, Florida, Minnesota, and area churches and singing groups, without whom this singing would not survive. The singing started with about 45 minutes of “no leader” style singing. Participants and listeners called out their selections, and John Etheridge keyed and set the pace. Selections included 512, 537, 74b, 564, 77t, 519t, 47t, and 498b. Pastor Dennis Hall offered the opening prayer.

Announcements were made. Syble Adams and Jenny Willard led song on page 367. Terry Wootten led song on page 62 as the closing song while we took the parting hand with friends and kindred dear to hold us over until we meet again to sing. Loyd Ivey offered the closing prayer, and the class was dismissed.
