The fifth annual New Year’s singing in Covington County, Mississippi (formerly held at the Pine Ridge Dunkard Brethren Church) convened in the fellowship hall of the First Baptist Church, Collins, Mississippi at 10:00 a.m. with Chairman Andrew Albers leading songs on pages 508 and 84. Rev. John Sapp offered the opening prayer.

A business meeting was held with the following officers selected: Chairman—Andrew Albers; Vice Chairman—Bill Hogan; Secretary—Jean Gray; Chaplain—Rev. John Sapp.
