The eighty-ninth session of the Sacred Harp singing held at Pine Tucky Church in Winston County, Alabama on the first Sunday in June was called to order by John Hyde. There were not enough singers present to continue singing, but some members of the church did not want to call the singing off, and asked that it still be continued for another year.
