The one-hundredth session of the Southwest Texas Convention met at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, McMahan, Texas beginning on Saturday, April 29. Chairman John Baker called the class to order at 9:30 a.m. with songs on pages 35 and 171. Gary Rogan offered the opening prayer. Vice Chairman Leon Ballinger led song on page 32t and Secretary Pat Blundell led 136.

A business meeting was held. As per convention rules, Vice Chairman Leon Ballinger moved up to Chairman. Mike Moseley was elected Vice Chairman and Pat Baker Blundell retained as secretary. Chairman Leon Ballinger appointed Diane Owen Ross, Mike Hinton, and Gary Rogan to the Memorial Committee. Leon Ballinger led song on page 120. Prayer for lunch was offered by Tom Owen.

Those remembered were: Ed Craig, Richard Daniels, Sr., Buddy Fowler, Jewell Alexander, Everett Cole, Virgil Phillips, Tina Hand, and Rachel Taylor.
Gary Rogan read the list of sick and shut-ins unable to be with us today and led song on page 313 for them. Those remembered: Verna Powell, Mildred Edmonds, Morris Nowlin, Oleta Daniels, Connie Hilgeforth, Frances Daniels, Lorene Hutchison, Lissa Calirhoe, Tommye Mauldin, Alcie Craig, Ophelia Matthews, Ada Mae Johnson, Georgia Bass, Kenneth Bass, Adelaide Vaughn, LaVona White, Myra Palmer, Myrl Jones, A.A.
