The Sacred Harp Book singing at the Old Songs Festival allows new singers to experience a traditional book singing, albeit in a shortened form. A brief introduction to format and tradition was offered and new singers were welcomed.

Eric Bean called the class to order leading 34b, and an opening prayer was offered.
