The annual Futral, Nelson, and Henry Memorial Singing was held on Saturday before the third Sunday in April at Smyrna Primitive Baptist Church in Goodwater, Alabama. The class was called together by Jack Nelson leading 32t, 400, and 30b. Elder Ken Milner offered the morning prayer.

The following officers were retained to serve: Chairman—Jack Nelson; Vice Chairman—William Futral; Secretary—Virginia Futral.

Leaders: Ed Thacker 33b, 97; Cecil Roberts 35, 97; Wendy Futral 339, 340; Margaret Thacker 46, 452; Edna Ruth Phillips 490; Marilyn Bradley 34 (t? b?), 59; Karen Clark 73t, 167.

RECESS

Jack Nelson called the class back together leading 228. Leaders: Denice Burleson 196, 269; Melanie Cornett 300, 143; Austin Cornett 341, 47b.

A memorial lesson was held remembering the following sick and shut-ins: Don Clark, Eugene Forbes, Floy Wilder, Audress Gurley, Nell Estes, Gabriel Futral, Dorothy Futral, Mona Nelson, Sammie Oliver, and Betty Wright. The deceased were Bud Oliver, Memory Nelson, and Willard Wright. Jack Nelson led 400. Elder Ken Milner closed the memorial lesson with prayer, and graced the table before the noon meal.

LUNCH

The afternoon session was called to order by Jack Nelson and Betty Culver leading 318 and 192. Leaders: Erin Mills 76b, 267; Bufrey Dean 268, 274t; Amy Armstrong 270, 384; Debra Ritch 108b, 373; Roy Nelson 31b, 39b; William Futral and Wendy Futral 61, 100; Virginia Futral 569b, 145b. The class sang 25, 77t, and 408 by requests.

After announcements, the class was dismissed with prayer offered by Elder Ken Milner.
