The 108th session of the Fayette County Sacred Harp Singing Convention was held at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church near Fayette, Alabama, on the first Sunday in August. Gravis Ballinger called the class to order leading 36b. Buddy Ballinger offered the morning prayer.

Following welcoming comments, the class organized with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Chris Ballinger; Vice Chairperson—Lisa Geist; Secretary—Amanda Ballinger; Arranging Committee—Linton Ballinger and Leslie Brady.
