The annual Huntsville Sacred Harp Singing was held on Saturday before the first Sunday in May at Heritage Primitive Baptist Church, Huntsville, Alabama. The Old Country Church at Burritt on the Mountain was unavailable this year. The class was called to order at 9:30 a.m. by David Ballinger leading 82t. Buddy Ballinger offered the opening prayer.

The class was organized by electing or appointing the following officers to serve: Chairman—David Ballinger; Vice Chairman—Linton Ballinger; Secretaries—Amanda Hardiman; Arranging Committee—Linton Ballinger and Lomax Ballinger.

In memory of the deceased and to remember the sick and shut-ins, she called each name, and led 69b. Tom Booth closed the memorial lesson with prayer.

The afternoon session began with David Ballinger and Jimmy Ballinger leading 99.
