The annual Sacred Harp Singing was held at Macedonia Baptist Church on the second Sunday in August, and was called to order by Dawson Adams leading song on page 39b. Doyle Williams led the morning prayer. Dawson Adams led song on page 57.

The class organized for the day with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Dawson Adams; Vice Chairman—Parnell Berry; Secretary—Josie Hyde; Arranging Committee—Travis Keeton and John Hyde.
