The annual Sanders Memorial Singing was held on Saturday before the second Sunday in February. In the absence of Velton Chafin, Henry Guthery was appointed to serve as chairman. Other officers were appointed as follows: Honorary Chairman—Velton Chafin; Vice Chairman—Larry Ballinger; Secretary—Linda Sides; Arranging Officer—Bea Aaron. Henry Guthery led 59 as the opening song. Jim Aaron offered the opening prayer.
