The 43rd session of the memorial Sacred Harp singing held at King School House, Natural Bridge, Alabama, in memory of Ganus Wakefield, Wilford Wakefield, Clifford Wakefield, Gene Wakefield, and Cecil Wakefield was called to order by Glenn Keeton leading 144. Richard Mauldin offered the opening prayer. Glenn Keeton led 312b.

Glenn Keeton called the class back to order by leading 64. The children of Simeon and Catherine Wakefield (Wayne Wakefield, Larry Wakefield, Betty Baccus, Faye Donaldson, Julia Poston, Clara Stults, and Nadine Willis) led 333 in memory of family members and 339 in memory of Hazel Wakefield. The grandchildren (Debbie Hall, Leisa Ingle, Lynn Donaldson, and Kathy Buchanan) and great-grandchildren (Logan Donaldson, Jacob Donaldson, Seth Poston, Ashley Hopkins, and Matthew Cook) led 59 and 108t (for their uncle, Wendell Wakefield). Seth Poston and Junior Poston led 275b and 108b. Betty Baccus led 100 and 490. Steve Miles offered a blessing before the noon meal.
