The 109th session of the Lookout Mountain Sacred Harp Singing Convention held on the fourth Sunday and Saturday before in August was called to order by Bud Oliver leading 32t. The morning prayer was offered by Wayne Reed.

Shane spoke on behalf of the sick and shut-ins, and then led 134 in their honor. Wayne Reed spoke in memory of the deceased. David Ivey led 465 (CB) in memory of Doyle Ashley. Wayne Reed, Scot Oliver, and Shane Wootten led “It Is Well With My Soul” in memory of Lela Mae Waggner. David Ivey and Richard Ivey led 403. The memorial service was closed with prayer offered by Ed Thacker.
