The 6th annual Central Ontario Singing was called to order at 9:30 a.m. by Gillian Inksetter leading 30t. Greg Jenkins offered an opening prayer.

Tom Siess conducted the memorial lesson. Tom Siess read the names of the sick and homebound as follows and led 66 in their honour: Myke Dyer, Philly Markowitz, Dorle Eppler, Shirley Campbell, Art Campbell, Wendy Dayton, Phyllis Stevenson, Margot Cohen, Mr. Mohlere, Patsy Morris, Victoria Bolles, Karen McLellan, Johanna Fabke, Bob Scorgie, Bob Anderson, Joyce Anderson, Peg Pearson, Linda Marker and Nadine Dyskant-Miller.

Tom Siess read the names of the deceased as follows and led 503 in their memory: Laurel Miller—Washington; Tony Johnson, Lee Rogers, Katherine Benefield—Georgia; Paul Tutont, John Hart—Ontario; Bill Ellason—Missouri; John Etheridge—Florida; Mattie Townsel, Frank Hataway—Alabama; Dick Steil—Texas.

Steve Rogers led 82t and 49b. Gillian Inksetter led the class in a grace, using the words of the Lutheran Table Grace to the tune of 49t. Greg Jenkins offered a prayer before the meal.
