The annual Providence Primitive Baptist Church Singing was held at Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church in Cullman, Alabama, on Saturday before the third Sunday in May. Due to flooding problems at Providence Church they were unable to host the singing this year. The class was called to order by Kenneth Fannin leading 405. The opening prayer was offered by Elder Ricky Harcrow.

The following officers were elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Kenneth Fannin; Vice Chairman—Delone Cobbs; Secretary—Judy Caudle; Arranging Committee—Jennifer Lee.

RECESS

The class was brought back together by Delone Cobbs leading 75. Geraldine Sharpton led 542 and 421.

The memorial lesson was conducted by Butch White and Ricky Harcrow. Butch White read the following names of the sick and shut-ins: Lonnie Rogers, James Cain, Glenn Keeton, Clarence McCool, Denson Hinton, and Julietta Haynes. Ricky Harcrow led 138b.

Butch White read the following names of the deceased: Elder Guy Hunt, Orin Floyd, Frank Williams, Marion Wilks, and Frank Hataway—Alabama; Elder Obay—Tanzania; John Etheridge—Florida; and Bill Reynolds—Tennessee. He led 30b. Elder Harcrow spoke and offered prayer to close the memorial service.
