Lincoln’s Birthday Singing

The 16th annual Lincoln’s Birthday singing was held the second Sunday in February at Ida Noyes Hall, University of Chicago, in conjunction with the University of Chicago Folk Festival. Last year’s chairman, Rachel Adelstein, called the class to order and introduced this year’s chairman, Lisa Cohen. Together they led 171.

Rachel Adelstein introduced Richard DeLong, who taught a singing school. During the singing school, Mr. DeLong led the following songs: 49b; 159; 155; 168; 73b; 74b; 75; 82t.

RECESS

Richard DeLong resumed the singing school and led the following: 44; 123b; 146 (along with new leaders from this class); 323t. Lisa Cohen thanked Richard DeLong for the singing school.
