The annual singing at Shady Grove (Keeton Cemetery) on the third Sunday in September was called to order by Glenn Keeton leading 166 and 145b. The morning prayer was offered by Richard Mauldin. Glenn Keeton extended a welcome to everyone.

A business session was held with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Glenn Keeton; Vice Chairman—Travis Keeton; Secretary—Lena Keeton; Arranging Committee—Elizabeth Keeton.

RECESS

Glenn Keeton called the class to order leading 175. Glenn Keeton spoke about the memories he had of his grandfather, C.B. (Bennie) Keeton. The children of Bennie Keeton—Leonard, Nell Sorsby, Arlon, and Lena Keeton, along with Glenn and Joshua Keeton—led 47b in his memory. They also led 146 in memory of their mother, Maude Keeton. Henry Guthery offered grace for the noon meal.

The afternoon session began with Travis Keeton leading 179.
