The 94th session of the annual Sacred Harp singing at Cross Roads Baptist Church was held on the first Sunday in July. Louis Hughes extended a warm welcome to everyone in attendance before calling the class to order leading 32t. Cecil Roberts offered the morning prayer, followed by Louis Hughes leading 138b (in memory of his father, Elder J.C. Hughes).

Karen Willard led 340 for the sick and shut-ins. Those remembered were Homer Benefield, Catherine Benefield, Felton Denney, Josephine Denney, D.L. McCray, Faye Wood, Theo Waddell, Curtis Owen, Edith Owen, Douglas McCray, Phil Goodwin, and Renea Campbell. Donald Ross closed the memorial lesson with prayer.
