The annual McWhorter Memorial Sacred Harp singing was held at Mars Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Cleburne County, Alabama on Saturday before the third Sunday in October.

Mary Lambert Smith called the class to order, welcomed everyone, and led 59. Lonnie Rogers offered the morning prayer.

Mary Lambert Smith led 30b, 31b; Teenie Moody 317 (in memory of her grandfather, M.F. McWhorter), 171; and Mary Lambert Smith 318.

A business session was held with the class voting to retain the following officers: Chairlady—Mary Lambert Smith; Vice Chairlady—Teenie Moody; Secretary/Arranging Committee—Hester Edwards.
