The twenty-second session of the Kentucky State Sacred Harp Singing, held at Pisgah Presbyterian Church, was called to order at 9:10 a.m. with Keith MacAdam leading 58.

The memorial lesson was held with Robert Coulston leading 236 in memory of his grandmother, Betty Coulston, a native of Indiana, who died in July of 2002. Bob Meek spoke of his mother, Myrtle H. Meek, who passed away earlier in the spring at the age of 86. She was born and is buried in Vine Grove, Kentucky. Bob Meek also spoke of Roberta Grimes, originally from Tennessee, who had recently passed away, and was the mother of Mike Grimes, Berea, Kentucky. Bob Meek then led 302 (SoH) in memory of his mother, Myrtle Meek, and Roberta Grimes. The memorial lesson was closed.

Keith MacAdam led song on page 49t as grace before lunch.
