The annual Mattox Memorial Sacred Harp Singing was held on Saturday before the third Sunday in May. The class was called to order by Tim Reynolds leading song on page 59. Ron Simmons offered the morning prayer.

The class organized with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Tim Reynolds; Vice Chairman—Gordon Wilkinson; Secretary—Marilyn Burchett; Arranging Committee—Clayton Ezell.

Tim Reynolds brought the afternoon session to order leading song on page 81t. Leaders: Claire Outten 31t, 479, 112; Laurens Blankers 452, 551, 86; Margie Norwood 405, 119, 535; Clayton Ezell 358; Angela Byers 354b, 87; Sandie Scott 517 (WB) (dedicated to the memory of Judge Nipper).

Tim Reynolds led song on page 347 as the closing song, and Clayton Ezell dismissed the class with prayer.
