The annual Sacred Harp singing at Emmaus Primitive Baptist Church was held on the first Sunday in May. The class was called to order by Philip Denney leading song on page 72b. Everette Denney offered the morning prayer.

Myron House read Psalms 103, and led song on page 207 for the following sick and shut-ins: Vivian Rogers, Mozelle Sheppard, Revy Williamson, Reby Stanford, Gladys McGraw, Alice Edwards, and Norma House. The memorial lesson was closed.

The children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of Felton and Josephine Denney led song on page 294.

LUNCH

Bernard Denney brought the afternoon session to order leading songs on pages 81 (t? b?) and 147 (t? b?). The Rock Mount Baptist Church Choir sang “It Is No Secret.”
