Elder Philip Gilmore and Linda Thomas conducted the memorial lesson. Philip Gilmore made a talk and led song on page 381. Linda Thomas read the names of the deceased and a letter about Ruby Phillips written by her children: Mary Ann Holmes, Betty Sue Johnson, Dwight Phillips, and Wayne Phillips. Linda Thomas led song on page 290 in memory of Ruby Phillips and songs on pages 340 and 358 in memory of Herbert Phillips.

Jeff Sheppard and the children of Aunt Nettie Green led song on page 418 in memory of the deceased: Ruby Phillips, Herbert Phillips, Allen Phillips, Bertie J. Phillips, Austin Phillips, Arthur Phillips, Eloise Watkins, Woodie Walker, Grady Price, Avie Blackwood, Marie Aldridge, Chloe Dailey, Ted White, Eron White, Madison Rose Tidmore, Betty Forbes, and Ida Gargus.

Jeff Sheppard led song on page 45t in memory of Allen Phillips, grandson of Virgil and Ruby Phillips, and son of Wayne and Yvette Phillips, who is being buried today.

The class was dismissed to reassemble in the cemetery to complete the memorial service. Several hymns were sung and Chris Green closed the memorial lesson with prayer.
