The annual Doss Memorial Sacred Harp Singing was held on the fourth Sunday in May. The class was called to order by Floyd Screws leading song on page 59. Tim Whitaker offered the morning prayer.

James Abel, pastor of the church, presented the memorial lesson. Margaret Aderholt led song on page 159 for the sick and shut-ins.

Dick Nail led song on page 274t for the following deceased: Rosa Hughes, Atha James, E.V. Sharit, Erah Doss, Icie Isbell, Obie Doss, Willie Dunn, Juanita Whitaker Moore, Edith Willis, Bill Kennemer, A.C. McGough, Marie Aldridge, and all of those who died on the battlefields in defense of our country.

Brother James Abel welcomed everyone and gave thanks for the noon meal.
