The ninth annual Los Angeles Regional Sacred Harp Singing was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Rick Russell leading song on page 52t. Steve Lazicki, Pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Pasadena, California led the opening prayer.

A business meeting was called at 10:15 a.m. to elect or appoint the following officers: Chairman—Rick Russell; Vice Chairman—Laura Boyd Russell; Secretary—Larry Arnstein; Arranging Committee—Pat Keating; Treasurer—Duncan McLeod; Memorial Committee—Marion Black; Chaplain—Steve Lazicki.
