The ninth session of the Birthday Singing was held on Friday night before the second Sunday in April at Antioch Baptist Church. Birthday honorees were Mildred Johnson, who was unable to attend due to illness, and Elder Homer Benefield.

Hugh McGraw called the class to order at 6:30 p.m. for Johnny Wright who was unable to attend due to his father’s illness. Hugh McGraw led song on page 324, and Elder Homer Benefield offered the evening prayer. Hugh McGraw led song on page 350.

A business session was held with the class voting to retain the following officers: Chairman—Johnny Wright; Vice Chairman—Everette Ellis; Secretary—Charlene Wallace; Arranging Committee—Mary Florence Smith.
