Schedules and Locations


UC Berkeley: We sing and enjoy snacks every Monday except major holidays, 7:30-9:30pm, at All Saints’ Chapel: 2451 Ridge Rd., one block north of Hearst between Euclid and Scenic (Here's how to get in.)

The first Monday of each month we sing from 7pm using a variety of alternative sources - recent original or obscure compositions by singers and friends, and tunebooks such as the Cooper Book, Norumbega Harmony, Eclectic Harmony, Northern Harmony, or Christian Harmony. Limited loaner books are available; feel free to bring a favorite shape note tune of your own, but please bring at least ten photocopies.

The third Monday of each month is our Learner's Group. We meet at 7pm and use this time to practice leading, discuss Sacred Harp history, rehearse tricky parts of certain songs, whatever the group wants to focus on. This starts at 7pm and goes until the regular singing begins at 7:30pm.

East Bay: We sing the 1st Sunday of each month in the homes of East Bay singers, 4:30-6:30pm followed by a potluck.

Peninsula/South Bay: We sing the 2nd Sunday of every month from 11am-1pm, and the 4th Sunday from 4-6pm, in homes of singers in the Penninsula and South Bay areas. Afterward we usually enjoy a hosted dinner.

San Francisco: On the 3rd Sundays of March, June, September, and December, we sing in public spaces around San Francisco, from 4:30-7:30pm, with a potluck dinner break.

Santa Cruz: We generally sing in Santra Cruz on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, 2-4pm.
