Bay Area Sacred Harp
Welcome to Sacred Harp Singing in the Bay Area!
We sing Sacred Harp pretty much every Sunday and Monday of the year here in the Bay Area. No performances or rehearsals, commitment, experience, or ability required, just a wide variety of people coming together for singing, fellowship, and food. Fasola.org has lots of great information on Sacred Harp singing in general, but one of the best ways to learn about the tradition is to show up -- to sing or just to listen -- to one of our singings, which are always open to anyone, regardless of... anything.
We're excited to be hosting the 2010 6th Annual Golden Gate All-Day Singing on the Saturday before the fourth Sunday in April (the 24th). We will also have another singing event (TBD) on Sunday the 25th. Hope you can make it!
